內凡

(內凡, 内凡)

The inner or higher ranks of ordinary disciples as contrasted with the [lang id =1028]外凡 lower grades; those who are on the road to liberation; Hīnayāna begins the stage at the [lang id =1028]四善根位 also styled [lang id =1028]內凡位; Mahāyāna with the [lang id =1028]三賢位 from the [lang id =1028]十住 upwards. Tiantai from the [lang id =1028]相似卽 of its [lang id =1028]六卽 q. v.
